Dog despairs of the noise of gunpowder and falls from a fourth floor as neighbors gather to catch him
Due to the noise of the gunpowder, this little dog fell from a fourth floor in Brazil. But luckily the neighbors rescued him
The last day of 2017 almost ended up being the last day on earth for this little dog. Tina, was frightened by the noise of the gunpowder, and tried to escape by crawling through the railings of the fourth-story balcony, and was left hanging with her front legs, clinging to her life. But fortunately the neighbors acted on time.
Despite much talk about the harm that the sound of gunpowder does to dogs, other animals and even humans, unfortunately, people continue to use these explosives in an exaggerated way around Christmas and New Years.
In Goiania, Brazil, on the afternoon of December 31, a small Shih Tzu dog was so desperate at the sounds of gunpowder that she practically jumped from the balcony of a fourth-floor apartment. Tina, who lives with Jean Carlos Silva Siqueira, had been alone for a few minutes while he went to the store.

Dog despairs of the noise of gunpowder and falls from a fourth floor
Condo residents realized that neighbors in another building were trying to warn them that something was wrong with the apartments.
Flávia Cattarina, one of the residents of the condominium, tells:
«My husband and I were in my apartment, and we noticed a strange noise, of screaming. There were neighbors having a barbecue and we noticed other people from the neighboring building pointing to the fourth floor.
Neighbors cooking a cookout downstairs noticed Tina hanging overhead from the balcony. The dog’s fall seemed to be imminent, so without hesitation, the good Samaritans quickly grabbed a sheet and held it taut underneath.
It turns out that the noise of the fireworks, which were already exploding even before it was dark, caused 11-year-old Tina to exit through a small space where the door was open to the balcony and get caught in the railing. .
Luckily, she didn’t fall all at once. The dog managed to hold on to the balcony railing for a while, which was enough for the neighbors to gather and with a blanket they could cushion the fall of the dog and save it.
In a video posted on social media, the dog can be seen trying to stay up on her front legs, before slipping and falling. The images, which are desperate, also show the moment when a resident picks up the dog and says that ‘the heart of the animal is beating very fast’.

The rescue of the dog was celebrated by the residents and Jean Carlos was very grateful to all who helped.
The man said one of his neighbors called him when he saw the little dog hanging on the balcony and he immediately returned home, but Tina had already been saved.
“They showed me the video, and I didn’t believe it, it was maddening, I almost cried. If people hadn’t reacted so quickly, I wouldn’t be with her on my lap today.
He said the dog is fine, but that she only calmed down completely after the end of the year, when the fireworks ended.
