Dogs have been characterized as very friendly and playful animals with people even under the worst circumstances. Unfortunately, not everyone appreciates this quality, and sweet Ice ran into a heartless man who decided to shoot him for having a “too happy” face.

The puppy was just 7 months old when he was found tied to a tree in Greece. The hikers who found him thought he was dead, but when they realized the reality they did not hesitate to seek help.

They took him to a shelter, and Ice clung to life. Despite the severity and pain of his injuries he was still kind and radiating his best energy to everyone.

Ice developed a serious infection in his wound, and had to undergo several surgeries to try to reconstruct his face.

The medical team managed to significantly improve the appearance of the wound, but her scar is still evident and this somewhat complicated her adoption proces

After recovery, Ice spent a long time in the shelter waiting for someone to notice him and give him the opportunity to be part of a permanent family, but no one seemed interested. Maybe they couldn’t see past the scar on his face.

After a year, Ice found the ideal family and is now an even happier dog. He lives in the UK, has the company of another puppy and his adoptive father loves him.

Despite everything that happened due to the intolerance of a heartless man, Ice finally arrived with the right people and is living the best stage of his life.
